Hilton Garden Inn Milford

I’m here for business every other weekend, and I keep choosing Hilton even though there are other hotels nearby. The place is clean, there’s plenty of free parking, and the support staff and amenities work well for me. Check-in is easy, Wi-Fi is free, and there are lots of movie apps to pick from. Giovanna is always polite, respectful, and professional. She knows the hotel and the nearby area well. It’s also a short drive to the highway and about 15 minutes from New Haven, CT. Milford is a beachside town, too.

I’ve stayed here several times and would recommend it. The location is great, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are consistently clean and well kept.

The lobby really stood out to me, with lots of space and several comfortable spots to sit. It felt fresh and clean, and the bar and small restaurant were nice extras for getting a drink or a bite. Our room was nice, though the bathroom showed a little wear. Breakfast also wasn’t included in the nightly price, which was disappointing after having complimentary breakfast at the Hilton property in Orange, CT. We only stayed one night, so didn’t have time to try all the amenities. The staff were friendly and easy to reach when we needed help, without hovering, and the hotel was clean overall.

We stayed two nights while visiting the area, and our third-floor room was quiet. The fitness center had plenty of equipment, weights, and mats. The indoor pool was small, but the temperature made for a refreshing swim. It was easy to drive to Silver Sands and Walnut Beach, downtown Milford, the mall, and lots of good restaurants. The hotel felt clean and safe. The electric car chargers were marked out of service while we were there.
