I came in yesterday to try to book a room and met Darrius, one of the housekeepers. He was so entertaining, kind, and funny. When guests are paying and ask for something, a decent greeting matters, and he really made me feel welcome. Housekeepers play an important part in doing their jobs well. Keep shining.

I stayed Monday, December 29 to Wednesday, the 31st, 2025, and the breakfast and checkout service were both far worse than I remember. I've stayed here several times over the last two years, but this is the first time I've ever reviewed the hotel. I used to feel more welcome when Susan, who worked the front desk until around summer of last year, and a couple of other staff members were there. If I raised an issue, they seemed willing to address it. The new staff have taken that feeling away. Breakfast used to have more choices, working drink dispensers, and all the ingredients for waffles. Maybe management's cost-cutting efforts are behind the service going downhill. Whatever the reason, you've lost a customer. On the second morning, around 8am, I went down for breakfast. The hours are 6am-9:30am, but the options were a metal warmer with egg patties on one side and sausage patties on the other, Corn Flakes and Froot Loops in separate dispensers, orange juice in a pitcher in the cooler with the yogurt cups, and an empty waffle maker with no supplies. I won't call those egg patties omelets. It was the worst breakfast I've had here in two years, and embarrassing to serve. If I'd had my phone, I would've taken photos. When I checked out Wednesday, December 31, 2025 @ 11am, I told the desk attendant about stains in the tub and a filthy bathroom floor. She said the tub stains were due to the property's age, which I could partly understand, but she basically dismissed what I said about the floor, which clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. Her tone, expression, and fake smile made it seem like she had no interest in addressing either problem. Then she asked, with that same fake smile, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" It was obvious she didn't want to be bothered. Whoever was at the desk with that fake smile and terrible attitude, thanks for the worst experience I've had here.

The room was clean, the TV had plenty of good channels, and reception was friendly. The washer and dryer worked well and were on the same floor. There's also lots of food nearby, which makes the location convenient. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting throughout the day, and it would be a while before I could reconnect. Soundproofing is awful; I could hear people talking in other rooms, which was so annoying. The cleaning crew were loud, slamming doors as they went in and out, as if nobody was trying to sleep in on their day off.

Deionna made my stay pleasant by checking that my room was clean and I had everything I needed. I really appreciated her professionalism and the genuine care she took to make my visit as good as possible. She may have been a manager, but even if not, she handled everything like a good one. More hotels should have employees like her. Thanks for valuing my stay, time, and money, Deionna. Keep up the good work!
