Lark Motel

We had such a good time as a family and are already looking forward to coming back. The beach is really close, and the staff were lovely and took great care of us.

We had a great family vacation here and hope to return next year. The motel was easy to get to from both the beach and downtown, parking was simple, and our stay included beach tags with a refundable fee when we returned them. Housekeeping was great, too. On the first day, we had two guests, and the front desk arranged for them to use the pool, come to our room to change, and use the restroom for $20 per person for the day, with no problems. Our room was comfortable for three, and the bed was comfortable. The living room had a nice TV. It would’ve been helpful to have another one on the bedroom wall since people don’t all go to sleep at the same time. The coffee maker, good refrigerator, and microwave were welcome additions.

Harry at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, and gave us helpful tips for seeing the city. We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the lark motel. Our room was spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

The pool area is nice, with new chaise lounge chairs, and the location is great, just a couple of blocks from the center of town. The building is older, but it’s clear they’ve done a lot of work on it recently. The rooms have been updated, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are nice. Everything in the room and bathroom was spotless. It’s not fancy, but they’ve done a great job with the place.
