Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort

We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. The suite worked well for us, the resort was clean, and the views were beautiful. The restaurant food was really good, and the person cleaning our room each day did a great job, even folding the blankets. The amenities were good, though it would be nice to have a small table and two chairs in the evergreen suite. The elevator took forever and was awful, so we had to learn to be patient. It would also help to have a scheduled shuttle to the attractions area.

We chose Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort for a Valentine’s weekend getaway, and it was just what we wanted. We’re local newlyweds and seniors, and it felt special to have such a good option nearby. From beginning to end, we felt valued and well looked after. The dining really stood out. Ebony and the runners took great care of us at The Tavern on a busy evening. At breakfast at The Waterside, Jasmina was attentive and careful with the details, and Suada made our Valentine’s dinner feel especially welcoming. Drea at the front desk patiently took several calls before we arrived and greeted me warmly at check-in. Kishme quickly brought a complimentary toothbrush, arranged bar soap through housekeeping, and approved a late checkout. The pre-arrival marketing texts were welcome, too. Our King Room was clean and comfortable for relaxing. A small sofa, or another chair and table with a reading lamp, would have made it better. We loved the walking trail, and the entrance by the pool deck was clearly marked and easy to find. We couldn’t find signs showing how to reach the lakeside part of the trail or describing its accessibility, which would help guests plan their walk.

The water view room was lovely, and the front staff were amazing. The crab cakes were to die for, and I enjoyed the rest of my food too. Cooks, keep up the good work. :) EBONI, the waitress, really stood out. She was organized, quick, and professional, and she took a lot of pride in her work. Her smile could brighten any room. She paid close attention to everything, was patient while I ordered, and went out of her way to help make my restaurant memories amazing. Even her clothes were well ironed, and you can tell she cares about how she shows up at work. If I had a fancy restaurant, I’d hire her in a heartbeat. Keep up the amazing work.

I’ve stayed at this resort several times for conferences and personal trips, and the staff are always the highlight. They’re the friendliest, most helpful people. One of the young men even remembered me from last May’s conference, when he helped me hang command strips. He was just as friendly and helpful this year. I recommend it 10 out of 10.
