Hampton Inn & Suites Boston/Stoughton

The Hampton Inn is a nice property, and the staff are great. It’s recently been renovated, so there are still a few kinks, but they’ll go back to the room after your visit to fix things. Let them know what’s wrong. I deleted my pictures, so this one’s just words. I think it’ll be a four-star place soon.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean, and having Target next door was handy. It’s close to the freeway too. But the tub drains were a problem in every room, and I couldn’t get a proper shower during the three days I was there. Breakfast was too basic and there wasn’t enough out. They should keep it replenished, since people are in a rush and don’t have time to wait.

The rest of my stay was great, and breakfast was about what I expect at a Hampton Inn. The location is convenient, just off Route 24 and a few minutes from Amtrak. My train was three hours late, so I arrived very late and ready for bed, but there was a problem with my room. I was moved for the night, then found an issue with that room in the morning too. Heather, the Office manager, was right on it first thing and sorted out both problems quickly. I got back into my original, preferred room. Heather turned what could’ve been a disappointing stay around. Thanks for all your help!

This was the worst place to stay. I booked because it was listed as recently renovated, but none of the key sensors worked. Every time I left my room I needed a new key to get back in, and there was no digital key access. I had to stop at the front desk each time to get the key activated.
