Stone Hill Inn

We spotted a beautiful red fox as we drove in. It darted in front of the car, ran up the driveway, then disappeared into the woods. Our room was also a highlight, with a huge jetted tub and double sided fireplace. We chose this inn for our 20th anniversary, and the owners made us feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was my favorite part: the dining room had a stunning view, and the food was amazing. Get the ham and cheese egg scramble if it’s an option. Those were the best eggs I’ve ever tasted. Kristi and Todd were wonderful hosts, and we’ll definitely stay again. Thank you both for the hospitality!

Christie and Todd are warm, professional hosts who take care of the details and make the stay feel personal. We came back to Stone Hill Inn after about five years. We’d loved it on our first visit, but had forgotten just how wonderful it was. It was exactly the quiet, cozy getaway we needed. We’d happily return and recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing, romantic stay in Stowe.

We had such a lovely weekend at this beautiful inn in Stowe. Kristie and Todd, the innkeepers and owners, along with Tony, who handles all sorts of things, shared their property and made us feel warmly welcomed. The rooms and cozy spaces are tastefully decorated, and breakfast each day was amazing. It was hard to leave. Highly recommend, and we’re looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you all!

We stayed in Fiddlehead and loved the room and its private patio. Breakfast each morning was delicious and cooked to order, and Todd and Kristie were wonderful hosts. We had a great time getting to know them. From the moment we arrived, the inn felt like home. It was decorated so cozily for fall, with candles, pumpkins, lights, and pillows everywhere. Our stay at Stone Hill Inn last week was perfect, and we can’t wait to return to Stowe. We won’t stay anywhere else!
