Sun & Ski Inn And Suites

The service was outstanding, especially when we found some electrical outlets in our newly opened room weren’t working. The managers handled it really well. We stayed on a busy winter ski weekend with our family, in a large room in the brand new building. It fit two parents and two teens comfortably, even with ski gear, and was nicely arranged and decorated. The view of the river behind the hotel was great, and there was a patio for summer. The lobby and lounge were inviting, and the pool and hot tub were nice. Excellent room, location, and service. I’ll definitely visit again.

After skiing, I need a meal, recovery, and sleep so I can get up again for the next day’s first chair. Sun 'n Ski met those needs very well. The property has been rebuilt over the past 10 (?) or so years and is modern and well maintained. The staff helped me choose a king room that suited me, facing the Little River, where I slept easily. I didn’t bowl, my quads, glutes, and thighs, please! The staff were helpful, efficient, cordial, and professional in every way. I love skiing and come up to Stowe over the year to ski, visit friends, play summer golf, and clear my head from suburbia. My wife and I have stayed at several area hotels, resorts, motels, and rentals over the past 30-35 years, though I was here solo this time. First time at Sun 'n Ski, and I’d recommend it with reservations for my next ski vacation. It was great.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the resort is cute. I’ve stayed with and without my dogs, and it’s always been a great stay. The front desk staff are extremely nice, and I love the location, with places to get a drink, eat, or shop within walking distance. I don’t have kids, but even though it’s great for families, it doesn’t feel like a kid’s resort. My friends with kids love it, so it’s a nice balance. I really appreciate a place that says it’s dog friendly without tacking on extra fees. If your dog breaks something or makes a mess, then of course you’re responsible for the cost.

Ethan, the night manager, was phenomenal when my family needed a last-minute room. He was kind and efficient and made a stressful situation feel easy. We stayed in a loft suite. It was a little dated, but clean, with comfortable beds, and the attached restaurant was a pleasant surprise, better than the reputation hotel restaurants often have. The hotel is under construction, but I’d love to try a renovated room if I’m back in Stowe. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. With kids, the extras were a big hit: fresh-baked cookies available all the time, mini-golf, onsite bowling, and a washer and dryer in sight.
