Holliday House Strasburg

This will be our third stay at the Holliday House. We love escaping Northern Virginia traffic and settling into the charming historic home with mountain views. It’s a lovely place to spend time, and the rooms are cozy and beautiful. I think DQ’s breakfast is what keeps drawing my husband back, while I get to go antiquing. First-class accommodations in a quaint little town.

Strasburg has a great small-town feel, with fun breweries and wineries nearby. The B&B is beautiful, with high ceilings, lovely decor, luxurious sheets, and clean, cozy rooms. Wifi is included, too. Chef DQ’s homemade gourmet breakfast was amazing. He can also make lunch or dinner for an additional cost, and his food is so good that I’d highly recommend dining here as well. Great customer service, too!

Megan and DQ welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. Chef DQ’s breakfast spread was amazing and didn’t disappoint. This beautiful bed and breakfast was just right for our weekday escape from the Hampton Roads area.

The food from chef DQ was fantastic, truly top-notch. We had biscuits and gravy, french toast, steak and eggs, and what may be the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. They even packed lunch for our hike in the Shenandoah Valley. Meghan and DQ were wonderful hosts and took care of everything we needed. The inn is a clean, beautiful Montpelier style home, and we slept comfortably in the king-sized bed in the Crabill room. Wifi is included. It’s hard to recommend this place too highly. Just book it, you won’t be disappointed.
