Kiteville had no front desk, though customer service said they’d try calling one. The check-in code didn’t work, and hours later I still hadn’t gotten a room. I called customer service twice and emailed several times, but they’re still charging me for a night I couldn’t stay. I’m waiting on my refund. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here.

The smell of urine and mold in the filthy room was so bad we couldn’t get rid of it, and the damp carpet turned the bottoms of my white socks black. When I switched on the heater, it smelled like death. The facility manager didn’t help us, so after the first night we left and found another hotel. Every room apparently has the same door code, too. I accidentally went into the wrong one. You’d be better off sleeping in your car.

I booked this for my 21-year-old son through Expedia. The moment he entered the room he called to say it was awful and he couldn’t stay. He took photos and emailed them right away, as the hotel asked. Zeck replied, “I dont think this little things are unacceptable, please get in touch with Expedia for refund request.” Expedia told me the hotel was offering only half credit because he’d been in the room. He called as soon as he saw it and had spent no more than 10 minutes there. The pictures show the “little things,” including filth and a blind that wouldn’t close.

We decided not to stay after the electronic keypad door wouldn’t lock when we needed to leave for a show. All our belongings were inside. We contacted the facility several times, got hung up on, then were told by text someone would come fix it. Nobody came, so we loaded everything into the car. They denied us a refund. The room had smelled musty and moldy, and when we arrived after getting an email saying it was ready, there were dirty socks and towels on the floor. A cleaner came within 15 minutes, apologized, and cleaned quickly, but seeing the soiled laundry left the place feeling gross. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.
