Hampton Inn & Suites Stroudsburg Pocono Mountains

Our dog had plenty of room in the spacious, comfortable room, and the walking areas were easy to reach and well lit. Everyone we met, from the front desk to housekeeping, was warm and welcoming to both us and our pet. It felt like pets were genuinely welcome here. The hotel and bathroom were spotless, the shower was great, and the beds and fresh linens were comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot, varied free breakfast, and the clean indoor pool and fitness center. Parking was convenient, and the hotel is a few minutes from downtown Stroudsburg’s shops and restaurants, with the Pocono Mountains nearby. The property feels modern and well cared for. After a long drive, the friendly staff made us feel at home. We had a fantastic stay and would happily choose this Hampton Inn & Suites again when traveling through the Poconos with our dog.

Really good hotel. The pool and fire pits were great, and the outdoor grills were clean and in good shape. Everyone was super friendly, and there’s coffee all day. Breakfast is decent enough for a hotel.

Sarah and the rest of the team were so kind, compassionate, and caring when I ended up in an unexpected situation. They welcomed me, and Sarah made sure I was safe and okay for the night. I’ve also stayed here several times for business. It’s clean and friendly, with a great breakfast in the morning. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel. Parking was free with plenty of spaces, and the reception had a mini buffet plus coffee and tea available around the clock. It’s also close to lots of things, from ski mountains to supermarkets, restaurants, a vet office, and a wine store. The rooms were okay, but for the price I expected better. It was New Year’s, so I know the rate was higher, but I still wouldn’t return. Breakfast was really bad. There was hardly any bread or other choice, and the only fruit was very ripe bananas. The oatmeal was soupy, with brown sugar and nuts, and if you came at 9 a.m. there might be none left. Asking for more didn’t help. The waffles were okay, but the batter could be gone after 9. The eggs are best avoided, though the potatoes were edible. Trash piled up, the place was messy, and the tables were dirty, crooked, and wobbly. I’ll leave the plates to the photo. The hotel should cost about 25% less and be cleaner, regardless of the season.
