Pocono Inn & Banquet

Getting snowed in here during a winter storm turned into a really lovely stay. The staff were welcoming from the start, attentive, professional, and kind throughout. My room was immaculate, and the whole property felt inviting. Everything seemed considered, and the comfort and service exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find such a warm, elegant place that also runs so smoothly. I’d happily come back.

Sam and his staff did a great job accommodating our large group for a private function this weekend. The rooms are spacious, so four people can sleep comfortably, and they have a microwave and mini fridge. The warm pool and welcoming service made the stay more enjoyable. I’d definitely come back.

The employees were considerate and polite, and I didn't complain or give management a chance to fix anything. For one night of noisy discomfort, it didn't seem worth it. The room was okay if you get the lowest rate and only need somewhere to sleep, but stays like this make me wary of Inns. In Room 103, the bed was comfortable, the heat worked well, the coffee maker worked, and general cleanliness was okay. The service was fine too. But the TV screen had a hole in it, the shower trim was moldy, there were no handholds or soap shelf, and the tub was slippery enough to feel unsafe. There were also gashes in a couple of walls. As with many cheaper Inns, there wasn't a comfortable place to sit and watch TV, and the channel selection was limited. The connecting rooms were noisy, with paper-thin walls. They should put guests in every other room instead of right next to each other.

The location was convenient, and things stayed quiet and relaxing during my three days there. My room was clean and well kept, and the staff were polite and helpful whenever I needed anything. Check-in and checkout were easy, and I had no problems during the stay, so the trip felt stress-free. A pleasant experience that I’d recommend.
