The room smelled bad, the TV barely worked, the air conditioner struggled, and the bathroom was nasty. They said there was a continental breakfast, but a couple of pieces of fruit and pre-wrapped food didn't feel like breakfast to me. The staff may have been family, since they were all sitting around in the lobby, which gave the place an unprofessional feel. It seemed more like somewhere truckers stop to crash, and the condition of the place made me think they could be posting hourly rates. Honestly, we would have been better off sleeping in our car. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in.

Ms. Hanna Gallow was the one employee who made things better. She was polite, attentive, and tried to help however she could. If we come back, I hope to see her again. Management, though, was very rude. One night a pipe burst in the lobby, and we weren't accommodated for the disruption. The whole hotel was without clean water, and getting fresh towels meant bringing down the used ones before 3 pm. Hanna deserves a raise and a promotion. She should be running the place.

Breakfast was a mess: the vending machine was empty, both the coffee and juice machines were out of order, and I didn't trust the bread. There was one pot of drip coffee, and staff had to be reminded to make more after five people had poured a cup. Utensils, napkins, and paper plates were in unlocked cabinets instead of on the counter. The staff seemed indifferent about all of it, including the spotty internet and requests for basic supplies. Our room was bare-bones, with rubber baseboard stapled on and cabinet screws popping out. They apparently clean rooms every three days, but ours wasn't cleaned during our five-night stay. At least we didn't find bed bugs. We'd hoped it had improved since our visit a year earlier, but it was worse, and we won't give it another chance. I'm not sure who owns it. Google lists it as 'Days Inn by Wyndham,' while the sign out front says 'Sturbridge Plaza Hotel.' If it still belongs to Days Inn/Wyndham, someone should check it out and update the listing if needed.

This was the worst experience I've had, and I'd give it an eighth of a star if I could. There was no room service, so I had to ask for towels and washcloths, and the desk worker got rude when I did. DoorDash wouldn't deliver there. I noticed a lot of full-timers switching names and rooms every 21 days, something I hadn't known was a thing. As I went to leave, I found a needle by my tire. The one positive: no bed bugs.

The room was filthy when I finally checked in at 3 pm, and I had nowhere cheaper to go, so I bought cleaning supplies at Walmart and scrubbed the whole place myself. I'd booked online for around $75 after seeing pictures that made the small room look clean. I should have read the reviews first. In the morning, I stripped the bed as I usually do and found stains all over the mattress pad and blood on the pillowcases. The sheets had been on the bed overnight. A picture fell off the wall when someone upstairs slammed a door or did something, and glass went everywhere, on the bed and rug. A housekeeping worker came and swept some of it up, but missed a piece that cut my toe when I got up to use the bathroom that night. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but there was only stale cereal and bread, empty juice containers, and no tea. When I checked in, the man was incredibly rude and wouldn't let me check in early, even though the place wasn't busy and my room was supposedly already cleaned, laugh out loud. The woman who later checked me in was rude to every guest, telling people they didn't have to stay if they didn't like it. This morning I told the man, who I assume was the manager, about the bedding, dirty room, broken glass, and missing breakfast. He said, 'If you didn't like the place, you didn't have to stay, not my damn problem.' He wasn't dressed like a manager should be, in my opinion. I took photos, including one of him flipping me off while acting so professional. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before staying anywhere. You won't get your money back, and some places are just incredibly rude and disrespectful. I'm reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau and posting a bad review on their site, though I doubt it'll do any good. Desperate people will still have to stay here.
