The breakfast was good, but I won’t go near that pool or hot tub again. You also had to go to the front desk every time you wanted a towel. The booking was supposed to be for 2/14-2/16, but Expedia had it as 2/13-2/15. I noticed when I went to get the address. Expedia sent me to the hotel, where they said my reservation had been canceled and I’d need to contact Expedia for a refund. The front desk person was rude, didn’t offer to rebook us, and just asked, “Anything else?” We had an event the next day and needed a room, so I asked to book again. The rate was higher, and he seemed annoyed about doing it. Expedia later said the hotel was responsible for the refund. The Expedia representative called them to advocate for me, and I was annoyed that the hotel had lied and even said, “If it were up to us we would give you the refund.” A few hours later we went swimming and into the hot tub, which was cold. The front desk said it would be fixed the next day. Back at the pool, people were acting unsafely and disgustingly. At 9:30pm, there were lots of loud children, which was fine, but also four adults who seemed very drunk or on something, having a great time in the hot tub. A man was doing front flips into the “deep end,” which was 5 feet, while a woman in a weed leaf onesie watched with a small dog. We told the front desk and went to our room. We assumed the hot tub had been fixed and everything sanitized, but the next day the same four adults were doing the same thing there. Everyone on staff I spoke with knew my last name as “the person who no showed,” which made me even more annoyed.
