Chanticleer Guest House

The quiet, beautiful setting was lovely, and we enjoyed the walking trails around the property. Each morning, a delightful breakfast was delivered to our room. We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Chanticleer during our Door County visit. There really isn't another bed and breakfast like it, and we can't wait to come back.

We had a great weekend in the clean loft, with plenty of parking, coffee available all day, and games to play. The grounds are lovely, with outdoor seating, and it's an easy base for exploring Door County. Breakfast was tasty and changed each day. The pool and in-room jetted tub were great, too. The shower was a letdown, with a small space and a poor shower head. My partner is tall, and the slanted ceiling made the loft awkward for him. The decor is older and country style. We would've liked a better bed and pillows. There's also a small gift shop that sells water and pop.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and told us how much they love the place and the beautiful tails on the property. I loved having our breakfast dropped off each morning, like a breakfast fairy. Our first B&B stay turned out to be the most amazing experience we've ever had, and we booked for next year right away.

We'd never been to Door County before, and this place made the whole trip for me. The room felt warm, homey, and peaceful, and it was spotless. The lobby had the cutest setup, with delicious cookies every day and yummy candles. Each morning there was an adorable basket and a sweet good morning waiting for us. The breakfasts were amazing, and so were the hosts. I honestly can't say enough good things.
