Motel 57

This quaint mom-and-pop motel brought back lovely memories of years past. It was such a welcome change from the big commercial places where you can feel unappreciated. The motel was extremely clean, and check-in and check-out were easy. We'd happily recommend it. And I nearly forgot, the water pressure is AMAZING!

A retro motel fit right into the theme of this vacation. We're not after luxury. If the place is clean, has good showers and a comfortable bed, and offers good value, we're happy. We'll stay here again.

We've stayed here for years, but this is going to be our last visit. We spent $400 for the weekend, and the pillows were so crusty we had to go to Walmart to buy two new ones. The mattress was badly worn down too. Time to invest in the place. We couldn't watch TV because the internet was shitty, and there was only half a roll of toilet paper for our three-night stay. I also noticed what seemed like people living there permanently. That's not a good way to run a classic motel.

This motel is soo cute, and the outside setup is perfect. You can park right in front of your room, with a seating area outside each one. There are grills available and a laundry room that costs $2.00 per load. Our room had two beds, a fold-out bar, and a small kitchenette with a hot plate and a full set of utensils and plates. It was absolutely perfect, and we've enjoyed our stay so far. The staff are incredibly friendly. I'm only traveling from Washington, but if I come back to Sturgeon Bay I'll definitely return!
