Rodeway Inn Caldwell

I had a horrible experience. The room was filthy, with bloody toilet paper in the toilet, hair everywhere, and dirty, torn-up walls. The extra deadbolt on the door didn't work. There was no soap, ice bucket, cups, or anything. The website advertises a 24/7 desk, but when I went to the office it was locked. The next morning I asked about breakfast and was told they don't serve it, even though it's advertised on their website. Nasty and disgusting.

We checked out in less than an hour and asked for our money back because the room wasn't habitable. The place smelled like someone had chain-smoked throughout it, the furniture was stained, and there were black stains in the shower. The room was dirty, and the property looked really run down. Since we left, management has been giving me the runaround to avoid refunding us even though we didn't stay. Absolutely do not stay here.

I booked the hotel, showed up, and was told the reservation was for the next day. The woman went to ask the manager if she could switch it, then came back saying she couldn't. I had to book again and got stuck paying for another night. Shady management, feels like they did it just to con someone out of $50.

The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and professional. When I asked for a downstairs room, they arranged it promptly and without any hassle, which really improved my impression of the place. I had a fantastic stay at the Roadway Inn in Caldwell, Texas. It's conveniently located near Walmart and Brookshire Brothers grocery store, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
