Residence Inn by Marriott Baltimore White Marsh

The hotel was clean and in a prime location. Anajha was so friendly and professional, and got me into a room quickly. She also told me about the marriott for business program, which I've since applied for. Destinee helped too: my first room didn't have blackout curtains, so she moved me and noticed my tier status, then upgraded the room. There was another woman there who was super friendly, but I can't remember her name.

Our group had stayed at other Marriott residence inn extended stay hotels before, so we tried this one and it was awful. We planned to stay two nights, but cancelled the second and booked elsewhere. The room smelled terrible, the AC didn't work, and the temperature was 77 degrees when we arrived. The bathroom wallpaper was bubbled up and had a little black mold, the towel bar fell off if you put a towel on it, and there was no hand soap. The fridge looked like it had taken a beating. Don't book until they get their act together.

My experience was awful, and the manager was so unwelcoming and unprofessional that I almost turned around and left to avoid the interaction. I stay at Marriott properties around the country 20-30 times a year, and Marriott corporate should seriously evaluate this place and its management. It should be taken out of Marriott’s portfolio. I guess I should've read the reviews. Marriott’s first response to mine was crap, and I'm thinking it's time to drop the Marriott Bonvoy club. Severely disappointed. This place is a shanty, and you'd be safer sleeping in your car in the parking lot.

The room was dirty from the moment we checked in, with stained old carpet, dusty surfaces, and a bathroom that hadn't been properly cleaned. The pool looked neglected and cloudy. I was already concerned about cleanliness during our stay, and now my daughter has pink eye, which I believe is directly connected to the filthy conditions here. This isn't merely outdated, it feels like a serious health risk. I'm appalled they're still operating this way. Families, beware. If your health and safety matter to you, don't stay here. This was unacceptable, and I'll report it to the appropriate health authorities. Update: Anyone booking can see the condition as soon as they walk in. It's sad the hotel won't take accountability, because this is 110% true. Again, I don't recommend anyone book HERE!!!
