Blue Way Inn & Suites Winfield

I needed somewhere warm during a recent cold snap, and this was a lot better than staying in my tent. The bed was good, the shower had hot water, and I had a great stay. There was a problem with the TV, but the manager promptly brought me a replacement. It’s an older property, but decent and reasonably priced. If I’m still in the same situation, I’ll come back next time the weather gets extremely cold.

The rates are fair, and it doesn’t feel like they’re trying to overcharge people like most hotels and motels do. The place had a rough patch when management slipped and quality dropped a lot, but the whole property is being redone now. The rooms are honestly 100% better. I think it’s well worth staying here, and I’d recommend it to anyone. God bless.

The rooms are comfortable, and I sleep well here. I’ve stayed several times when visiting family in town, partly because the rates are good and they let my 3 dogs stay too. The guy at the desk has always been friendly and helpful. He keeps a close eye on the place, so there aren’t drugs coming in or loud parties. He even recognizes my name when I call to say I’m on my way.

We both would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location, easy entry, and helpful staff. It’s an older place, but clean and has modern amenities, and it gave us somewhere to rest after a long day. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus, though we only woke up for it once during our 4 days there. I rated the bed 9 out of 10, while my wife gave it 5 out of 10. Her complaint kept me from giving it 5 stars.
