Stone Harbor's new wild rice and blueberry stuffed chicken breast is my new favorite entrée in Sturgeon Bay. The savory chicken, well-seasoned wild rice, and little burst of blueberry make a fantastic combination, both comforting and elevated. Fresh string beans added a nice crisp balance. I loved it from the first bite to the last.

The views were breathtaking, and we're already looking forward to coming back. On our first visit, the warm staff, excellent dinner and breakfast on the deck, and peaceful Sunday coffee on our private patio made a wonderful start. Later, drinks and live music with friends made for a lively evening. It was an unforgettable stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend this resort.

Stone Harbor Resorts is easy to reach, has plenty of parking, and is within walking distance of downtown Sturgeon Bay. There are also great restaurants and bars nearby. The resort was recently renovated as of 2025, with friendly service, clean facilities, and a nicely remodeled restaurant and bar. I highly recommend it.

The food was good, but it left me constipated, so I spent most of the day watching SpongeBob. The room had a fridge sitting on the floor, no microwave to heat up my fries, and a TV that looked about 13 inches. The wall art reminded me of my grandma's living room, and the thermostats were probably as old as she is. The blinds were obnoxiously nice, though. There's no pool in the room, either.

We were there for Labor Day weekend 2025, and the only option left was a Premium One Bedroom suite. It was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We had a large sitting area for watching TV, a dining table for six, and windows and a porch facing the Sturgeon Bay ship channel. The kitchen had quartz countertops, and the bathroom was modern with a glass shower. Amazing.
