A couple of blocks from downtown Sturgeon Bay, the inn makes an easy base for exploring the area. We enjoyed walking around its lovely garden, where seats are scattered across the grounds. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with charming themed decor. Breakfast was a highlight each morning: delicious cherry French toast one day, then an excellent egg bake the next. The staff were warm and friendly too. A fantastic choice for a couples' getaway.

My girlfriend and I live near Green Bay and wanted a Valentine's Day staycation close to home. We were charmed by the White Lace Inn, where we stayed in the Washburn House. The care in the upkeep and the attention to small details really stood out. We were also close to 3rd street for shopping, food, and drinks. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the staff and servers were warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed three nights in room a at the Washburn house. It was charming, spacious, and very clean, with modern amenities. The property was lovely, and we thought the breakfasts were amazing. Everyone we met on staff was warm and friendly, and offered suggestions for places to see while we explored Door County. We'd happily recommend it and come back.

During our visits for Packers games, my wife and I have stayed here a couple of times. The rooms are quaint, clean, and well kept, and breakfast is excellent. We really enjoy the unique experience, especially for such reasonable prices.

The grounds were beautiful and meticulously cared for, and Marsha, who looked after us, was cheerful and very nice. Breakfast was pleasant too. There wasn't a choice of what was served, but it suited us: delicious stuffed French toast, sausage, and a fruit cup. My husband and I spent one night in the Garden House. Dennis showed us the room and took time to tell us about its history and the items in it. It was well preserved, with beautiful antiques and comfortable accommodations. If you're after a super modern place, keep looking. If you enjoy vintage style and preserving history and tradition, you'll appreciate this one. Our only slight complaint was the mothball smell in the house and room. Still, it gave me warm memories of my beloved grandma, whom I miss very much. ♥️
