Days Inn by Wyndham Sturtevant / Racine / Mount Pleasant

The second time was just as good as the first, and Milan was a pleasure to deal with again. I came back unexpectedly after my travel plans changed, and booked here without even checking other places. The first visit had been so good: Milan welcomed me with a great sense of humor, the rooms were well kept, and I felt completely safe. Breakfast was standard, I slept great, and getting on and off the expressway was easy. This is my go-to for future trips here because the service has been so consistent.

We got a room with a king bed and jacuzzi even though we hadn't booked ahead. The front desk person suggested a wonderful place for dinner and was helpful when the TV wouldn't respond, it had been unplugged. The room was clean and breakfast was more than enough. I'd recommend the hotel to travelers.

The room was comfortable and clean, and there were plenty of towels. The poolside floor was dirty and gross, though, and there was a smell like someone had been smoking Turkish cigars, cigarettes, or a pipe.

For the price, the room was nice enough, and the issues weren't enough to keep us from coming back. Still, it didn't seem to have been cleaned very thoroughly before we arrived: there were kids' face prints on the windows and marks on the mirrors. Some towels also had orange, rust-like stains.
