We stayed one night in hotel 315 before going to Virginia Beach for the day. The hot shower was a bright spot, though it took a few minutes to get really hot. The room looked okay at first, but there was some mold and the air smelled odd. The hallway and hotel smelled like cigarettes and mold as soon as we walked in. The sheets were clean, but stained and had burn holes. Staff seemed kind of rude when we asked for more towels; one employee rolled his eyes and got an attitude. We got woken up at 5 a.m. when a loud hallway alarm went off twice. For the price, the stay was pretty good, though it had its downsides.

There was mold everywhere, dust in abundance, and the room smelled like feet and a wet dog. The sheets had black stains, the beds had food and beer caps, and the fridge had rotten, moldy food left inside. The microwaves and fridges were dirty, there were cockroaches in the beds, and I was worried about bed bugs biting me. Everything was outdated, and curtains had been used to hide stains on the bedding. The building looked like a trap house, and the place felt like a hole in the wall. The staff and owner were unprofessional and showed no class or consideration for guests. They wouldn’t refund me and seemed to be trying to steal my money. My experience was beyond disgusting. I would never recommend staying here, not even for an animal. This place should be condemned.

The room had mold on the ceiling, holes in parts of the wall, sticky tables, damp mattresses and bedding, and a bathroom door that wouldn’t shut. Nothing worked, and the smell was awful. When the toilet above me flushed, urine came down onto me. There was a no-refunds sign out front, which I guess makes sense once you’ve seen the room and want your money back. This hotel was filthy, nasty, and dank. I’d give it less than one star if I could.

The smell was awful in every room I saw, and the conditions were shocking. Room 307 had a hole in the floor, and staff told me to watch my step on that side. I'm only 117lbs, but the floor gave way under me and I was terrified. I asked to move to 309, where I found holes in the wall, rough paint over five patched spots, mold in the bathroom corners, and stained blankets. Room 305 was a little better, but the bathroom was disgusting, the blankets had stains and holes, and the mattress cover was dirty brown in several places. I had to go through multiple rooms before finding one that was even decent. Hotels.com let me down by listing this place, and when I complained, they only called the property and heard from the front desk clerk/ owner that everything I said was true. This hotel should be condemned and brought up to code.

The location was the only good part. We stayed five days, and housekeeping never came, despite our repeated requests for towels. We ended up buying our own toilet paper, too. The rooms smelled bad and the sheets were stained, so we bought Lysol and sprayed the whole room. Bathrooms were nasty, and the shower barely had any water pressure. There was no AC in the hallways and just one elevator for the whole building. Breakfast was only waffles, which was a joke. The pool and parking lot were both filthy, with trash everywhere, including dirty diapers. We won't stay here again.
