Hotel Indigo Jacksonville-Deerwood Park by IHG

I loved the lake view and the walking trail beside it. It made for a lovely, relaxing morning walk. The front desk team also made check-in and checkout smooth, and quickly moved us when the first room wasn’t up to standard. That room didn’t seem to have been cleaned: there was dirt and hair clips on the floor, with hair on the shower walls and even on the bed. I let the desk know, and they moved us without hesitation.

The staff made our group feel welcome and looked after, handling requests with patience and flexibility. Kerrian, Chantel, the check-in clerks, waiter, chef, setup crew, and maintenance crew all deserve a shout-out. The hotel was spotless, and our rooms were fresh, well maintained, and ready for us. We had a smooth, stress-free stay, and will absolutely return to Hotel Indigo Deerwood Park. We highly recommend it for the hospitality and well-kept property. Thank you, Hotel Indigo!

I’ve stayed at many IHG hotels as a platinum elite member, and this is one of my all-time favorites. This was my second time here, stopping on the way from Ohio to Florida, and it’s a real breath of fresh air on the road. The neighborhood is great, with a lake, walking areas, shops, and restaurants. The suites are fabulous, with huge showers and amazing deep soaking tubs. Manager Ryan and Chef Steven made the evening for my colleague and me. We arrived late on Super Bowl Sunday, and they were very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel restaurant and bar are warm, inviting, and comfortable. I highly recommend it! Linda

The lake and trail out back were the big win for me, and our room was clean and well maintained. The shower had good pressure and got really hot. Victoria at the front desk and Shanta at the bar gave us a great welcome to Jacksonville, and all the staff, including housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. I came for a weekend to meet a friend and go to a local show, and didn’t know the area, but I was happy with my choice. It’s outside downtown’s bustle but close enough to get there in about 15 minutes. Bar food was tasty and reasonably priced for a hotel, and there are places to eat within walking distance. I do wish breakfast were included. I’d give the hotel a 9.5/10.
