Super 8 Sullivan

The hotel is easy to reach from the highway and right by a gas station. My room was in great condition, and the staff were very nice and polite. I got up too late for breakfast, but the area looked clean and well stocked when I checked out. If I'm back this way and need a room, this will be my go-to.

Our rooms were very nice, and the gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. He even checked our room again to make sure it was ready for us. We got to breakfast late, but he brought the waffle mix back out, cleaned the griddle, and made waffles for us.

The room was clean, the bed was very soft, and I slept well. The front desk was so friendly and really helped with my reservation. They have coffee, juice, and especially good waffles. Patel also helped me with my points reservation. I'll stay here again and again.

For a cheap, quick stay, it was okay, but there are a lot of maintenance problems. The hotel was supposed to be nonsmoking, yet the whole place smelled of smoke. Our room had a cracked window, peeling paint around it, and a bathtub spout that looked ready to fall off the wall. The stair railings had duct tape on them, and the outside door release fell apart when we used it. The website was completely wrong about breakfast, listing things like scrambled eggs and sausage that weren't there. The person we spoke to by phone said it was just waffles and continental breakfast, and that the website was wrong. He had to check the website to see it himself. We also couldn't plug in the fridge, microwave, and TV at the same time because the extended plugs wouldn't fit together in the outlets. I had to move the microwave to use it.
