Echo Canyon Spa Resort

Echo Canyon has quickly become my favorite escape from daily life. It’s ideal for writing, relaxing, and getting back to nature, whether you want to hike, fish, or just unwind. I stayed last weekend and plan to return two or three times a year. The staff anticipate what you need and combine professionalism with real kindness. Every detail felt considered, from complimentary snacks to the comfortable beds. The food was outstanding, with a talented chef making five-star breakfast and dinner. The spa is luxurious but comfortable, furnished with care and many antiques, and it’s a wonderful place to relax. The property is tucked away on 27 acres by Turner Falls. From the gates to the charming cottage, the striking manor, and the fun gift shop tour, everything felt special. It has five-star quality with a warm, down-to-earth feel.

For a peaceful, quiet getaway, Echo Canyon is the place. It’s paradise hidden in plain sight, and I can’t wait to spend another weekend there. The friendly staff were eager to make our stay relaxing, and they even brought drinks out to the pool. There were complimentary snacks and an on-site bar, too. Fruit grows all around the property, and Mrs Carol, the owner, uses it to make fresh sauces served with every meal. You have to try her fresh blackberry juice, it was divine. The room, dinner, and spa were all wonderful.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit in the winter/Spring. Echo Canyon is close to home, so we can relax without the stress of traveling. The food and service are five star, and the staff are polite and helpful. The owners, Joe & Carol, make you feel welcome and cared for. Every time we stay, we try something new at the spa, and I can’t pick a favorite. I’ve had massages, pedicures, and facials elsewhere, but the serenity at Echo Canyon puts me in a state of true relaxation from the moment I arrive. The rooms are spacious, with a jacuzzi tub and comfy robes.

We mostly stayed on site to chill, though there’s lots to do around Sulpher, OK. It’s a nice, relaxing place with really good food and super friendly wait staff. There are no kids allowed, which is great for a couples retreat. Our cabin had a full kitchen, but no dishes, silverware, or pans. Make a reservation for dinner and book a massage ahead of time. Breakfast doesn’t need a reservation, just show up. The pool is very small, only 4 feet, so it’s not good for swimming, but it’s great for cooling off. The real downside was the mattress, which needs replacing ASAP. I didn’t sleep well at all, and my hubby was a good foot higher in the bed than I was.
