We came for our 20th anniversary, and the area around the sage cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed, and we’d stay here again if we’re back in the area. We’d recommend it to others, too. The gentleman we spoke with was very friendly and apologetic about the website listing a Friday seafood special. We’d planned to eat at the restaurant and had made choices about what food to bring based on that listing, since we have a few allergies. He said they’d been trying to remove it from the site, and I see it’s gone now, so thank you. He mentioned the general store might have food, and we ended up having tuna sandwiches for dinner. He didn’t ask what the restaurant might be able to make for us. The cabin seemed clean, but there were spider webs throughout the inside and on the deck. The deck table was broken and its top could tip if you weren’t careful. There was also some kind of rodent droppings on it. I know this is a wild area, and that’s part of why we came. Still, a quick check before guests arrive could clear away some of those unwelcome critters and webs. Thanks for all your work in such a beautiful place.
