Flowertown Bed And Breakfast

Carol was easy to work with, and the prices were very reasonable. We had our daughter's baby shower here last weekend and stayed at Flowertown B&B. The Victorian home is charming, with lovely rooms and a beautiful garden. It's peaceful, the food was wonderful, and we loved our time there. We plan to return.

Carol was a warm, welcoming host, and I really enjoyed our conversations with her. We didn't get to meet Chris this time. We've preferred bed and breakfasts throughout our 40-plus years of travel, and getting to talk with hosts and other guests is part of what makes a stay special for us. Carol and Chris Grant made us feel right at home. We spent four lovely nights at Flowertown Bed and Breakfast in early December and enjoyed Carol's breakfasts, with both sweet and savory dishes. The house is a grand Victorian, filled with beautiful period furnishings and decorations. Their Christmas collection was everywhere, each display interesting in its own way, and the long staircase had a wonderful assortment of nutcrackers in all sizes and styles. We'd wanted to stay here since hearing about it and seeing it before. Summerville has been a delightful place for my wife and me, partly because Charleston is so close, and we knew we wanted to come back. We'll return to Flowertown next time for another relaxing stay in this welcoming historic Southern home.

Carol had everything ready before we arrived, including the pictures from the romantic package we added. The room was clean, inviting, and comfortable, and we felt safe throughout the weekend. At breakfast, we had a delicious, filling meal and a great conversation with another couple. Carol joined us, which I loved. She also accommodated my gluten-free and vegan diet. My husband and I had such a fun, relaxing weekend. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We'd recommend it and will be back.

We had enough free time on this return visit to wander through the peaceful, relaxing gardens, which made the stay even better than our first. Breakfast was a delight with Lisa as our host, and we enjoyed meeting a couple staying in the inn's cottage.
