Hampton Inn Summerville, SC

Ms. Barbara in the breakfast area was a joy and brightened every morning. We also found the front desk staff friendly and easy to deal with, and enjoyed the room and service. The hotel allows pets for a fee, while service animals stay free. While walking our dog, we saw several nearby businesses that were closed or being renovated, and there is a substantial homeless population in the immediate area. People do walk around there. We didn't see anyone on hotel property, and it wasn't a problem for us, but it's something to know. It was a good stay at a good Summerville hotel, and I'd highly recommend it.

Shawn at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming. He was patient, talked with us, and clearly cares about both the guests and the animals. It's rare to feel so comfortable and appreciated while traveling. The hotel was clean and pet friendly, and the whole staff showed real care for the people coming through the doors. We enjoyed it enough to extend our stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, welcoming place with genuinely caring people.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from. There were lots of coffee creamers and sweeteners, and great waffle toppings like sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate chips and syrups. The hotel was well organized, and I loved the holiday decorations. Our room was clean, and the front desk staff and night auditors were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This is the nicest Hilton property I've stayed at. We had a wonderful stay and will come back whenever we're in South Carolina.

The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and there's a little shop for snacks and personal items. Breakfast was delicious with a very good selection. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the shower has great pressure. It's also close to lots of shops and transportation. An excellent hotel.
