There wasn’t even a trash can or a phone in the room, and asking for a bin got us nowhere. We had to request towels every day, while the sheets stayed unchanged throughout our five-night stay. The first room had blood on the light switch, so we asked to move. The fire alarm was still wrapped in plastic and didn’t work. The rooms were dirty, and there seemed to be a lot of drug activity around the property.

I paid $170 for a night that felt like sleeping on skid row. There were people who appeared homeless wandering around, flickering lights, and a huge pile of eight bags of trash in the hallway. In my room, the smoke alarm had been taken down and replaced with a wad of paper towels, and the bed didn’t even have a fitted sheet. I felt so gross that I wanted to shower before and after getting in it. After seeing the room, I went straight out to buy sleep medicine because I figured that was the only way I’d get any sleep. This place is despicable, and whoever owns it shouldn’t be running a hotel.

The door seemed secure, and there was trash out in the grassy area. Inside, the shower was broken, the main room had no light, and there wasn’t a chair or table. The chest had no drawers, and I couldn’t find a smoke detector. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Two men nearly got into a fistfight outside my window at 6 AM, which was the final straw. I travel for work and have stayed in dozens of cheap motels, with pretty low standards, but this was the worst one. The bed had a strange smell, and the bedroom floor was too dusty for bare feet. There were stains and debris in the shower, bathroom, and on the counter that looked easy to wash off. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the shower’s hot and cold labels were switched, and there was a badly patched hole in the ceiling. Just overpriced trash.
