I paid nearly $300, then had to clean the room and bathroom myself just to make them usable. The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned before I arrived: no sheets or pillowcases, food on the floor, opened drinks and cups on the stands, and dirty counters. In the bathroom there was used tissue on the sink, urine on and in the toilet, used washcloths, and no shower curtain. Housekeeping was nowhere around when I checked in. I went downstairs to get Lysol, sheets, and pillowcases, then cleaned everything myself. For that price, this was completely unacceptable. If this were my only option, I’d rather drive home than stay again.

The breakfast was basically bread and fruit, with a few frozen hard-boiled eggs sitting on ice for everyone. The lobby coffee sits out all day. In the room there was no coffee maker, toiletries, or other amenities, and the shower only got lukewarm. We had to change rooms, but both were dirty. There was human and animal hair on the beds, in the shower, and on the bathroom floor, along with mess left by previous guests. The bedding was rough and worn, and the nightstand was broken. Budget motel conditions, and a bad breakfast. I’ve contacted Hilton corporate.

I had to stay because the next Hilton was 45 minutes away and I was exhausted. The next morning I called Hilton to say how disappointed I was. I didn’t have the time or energy to go back and forth with the on-site manager, since it seemed staff knew what shape the property was in. My room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom floor was stained and the shower was visibly dirty. Under brighter light, I found a used vape on the floor, pecans scattered across the carpet, and a Snickers wrapper in the room. I didn’t feel comfortable using the bedding, so I drove to a nearby Walmart and bought a comforter to sleep under. As a frequent work traveler and Hilton Diamond member, after a long day I just need somewhere clean and comfortable to unwind. This stay was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. I consider the hotel a total trash dump and won’t return. Hilton should ensure its properties meet a basic standard of cleanliness and protect the brand, especially for loyal members.

We came for Thanksgiving to see family. The tub in our first room had a crack, so we asked to move. The front desk attendant was lovely and quickly set us up in another room, which was clean and comfortable. Everyone on staff provided great service. We had a great stay and will be back.
