Rodeway Inn Sun City Center

I was in town for work and needed a place to park my truck, and there weren’t many options unless I drove north to Tampa. I was impressed. Mannie at the front desk made check-in effortless, and his attitude and people skills were amazing. He was friendly and eager to help. The rooms and property were clean and well kept. I’ll remember this location next time I’m in town. Thanks, Mannie and Rodeway inn.

I still haven’t received a call back or the loyalty points, and I’m unhappy with this customer service. The hotel assured me it would fix the issue after I called to ask for a resolution. Choice told me the hotel had canceled my reservation and put it back at a local rate with no points. Nobody told me that had happened. I’d booked through the Choice Hotel app and site on November 19 for an arrival on December 4, an 8-day local work stay. Check-in wasn’t allowed until after 3 pm, and the hotel canceled my reservation at 3:45 pm. I arrived at 4:30 and checked in as though it were still booked. Two days later I saw in the app that it had been canceled. The front desk said it was a Choice hotel glitch and, when I checked out on day 7, assured me I’d still get loyalty points. I use the app for points on business stays. Choice said the hotel canceled and reinstated the booking without points. This felt like a bait and switch.

I enjoy coming to Sun City Center for a private vacation. The Inn is only a few miles from the highway, and it has a warm atmosphere. The staff are professional, the rooms stay nice and cold all night, and the pool is always a lovely place to sit and relax. It’s a well-organized, pleasant spot to unwind.

Manny at the front desk was wonderful, and my freshly renovated room felt clean, fresh, and appealing. I had a great stay for four nights while waiting for my home to close. I’d recommend giving Rodeway Inn a chance to earn your business. Manny, I’ll be back.
