The rooms are clean, nicely equipped, and the pool is a nice feature. There's also a shared area with a grill and patio tables. Staff were friendly, helpful, and informative, and management was great. Prices are very reasonable. From the outside, this older motel and travel center might not impress, but that doesn't take away from what's inside. We stayed here while our son and his partner paid more for another place. When we met up later, they said our room and experience had been better, and cost less. I highly recommend staying here.

We've stayed at this motel once or twice a year for five years, in both winter and summer, while stopping on the way to Canada. We usually call a day to a week ahead. It's reliable, clean, and safe. It's a perfect choice for visiting nearby Leavenworth, and the price was under 70 dollars a night for one bed. We arrived around 9 pm and the new owner greeted us warmly. The room was clean and set up just right. It warmed up quickly and stayed hot through the morning, just as we wanted. Mom enjoyed a hot bath.

The owners and cleaning staff were more accommodating than I could've hoped for, and everyone was so friendly that I'm planning to stay here whenever I'm in town. I was only here one night. The room was neat as a pin, with the thickest, comfiest towels. It's quaint and completely charming, though not the most updated. For a motel, this place is tops! I was pleasantly surprised there were no phones in the rooms. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't used to the Ritz or Waldorf. Such a pleasant little place!

The oven hadn't been wiped after cleaning, so the pizza I baked tasted of oven cleaner and went to waste. Aside from that, it was quiet and peaceful, easy to find just off the highway, and had an open, working pool plus a gas grill for guests. The room was a decent size, with a full kitchenette and appliances, a table and chairs, bar stools, an iron, and a super-hot blow dryer.
