Comfort Inn Lafayette

The price was very friendly, and there was plenty of space. The hotel was nice and clean, close to the university, and we had a comfortable, pleasant stay. I strongly recommend it to parents and visitors.

We stopped here for one night on the way to our destination. I didn't sleep well because the room didn't feel clean. The comforter had a large makeup stain, and the room smelled moldy. The temperature control barely responded: even 12 hours after we set it cooler, the room was only a couple degrees cooler. Breakfast was okay, but the regular coffee was empty at 7:30 in the morning.

My February 10 stay at Comfort Inn & Suites at the MeijerCourt location in Lafayette, Indiana was very disappointing. The front desk clerk was rude and unwelcoming, and I felt profiled and judged almost as soon as I arrived. Their tone and body language felt hostile, which made the check-in uncomfortable and unnecessary. As a paying guest, I expected professional, respectful treatment. Instead, I felt neither welcome nor safe. I hope corporate management reviews customer service at this location and addresses how guests are treated at the desk. I'm sharing this so other guests know what happened and management can improve training and accountability.

Customer service was great, and the bedrooms were very clean. But so many other things were out of service: there was no treadmill or washing machine, and no laundry soap for the machine. It was upsetting to pay for those added items and then be disappointed. There are a lot of things that need updating and putting back in order. I could go on, but I'll spare you the details.
