Budget Inn

We only ended up here because of an accident at our house, and the room was a mess. It had a funky smell, stains and cigarette burns on the covers, plus a strange hole in the wall. We spotted one roach on the floor right after coming in, then another by the bed that we killed because it looked like it was trying to lay an egg. The bathroom was falling apart, and the heat wouldn't stay on. I brought my Roku box, but when I tried connecting it to the internet, it told me to visit the front desk. The woman there didn't know what I meant and just gave me the Wi-Fi password. I wouldn't recommend staying here with kids.

The room was so nasty, I'd rather sleep in my car than come back. It smelled dirty, felt really hot, and I didn't feel safe when we walked in. There were roaches, stains on the sheets and covers, and other people's hair and dead skin still on the bedding. Some of the lamps didn't work either.

The owners are really nice, the housekeepers do an amazing job, and the place is clean and in a safe area. I don't get the negative reviews. You're in Lafayette TN, not Las Vegas, so quit whining. The beds are soft, and honestly I've stayed at fancy hotels that weren't kept this clean. I'd stay here again anytime.

Niki is great with customer service, and the motel is clean with the usual products, towels, and incidentals available. It's an old, dated place, so don't expect a five-star hotel, but it brought back memories of stopping at motels with my parents during summer vacations. I feel comfortable here. Availability is good, and I'd recommend it, though my overall rating is a 4. It's really okay.
