After your 15-Hr day, Dave at the bar can serve up solutions. This place just works for me. It’s been my twice-a-year home-away-from-home for the last 5 years. The rooms are spacious, and there’s a sunken hotel bar, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. It’s an old-school hotel, clean and dressed up without being flashy, close to everything but still peaceful.
David, you’re the best. The bartender makes amazing drinks and is really attentive to what guests need. He’s great to talk with, too. I really enjoy staying here, and you can expect wonderful hospitality, food and drinks.
It’s a good place near the business area, though it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. My stay was wonderful otherwise. The front desk agent, I think her name was aliza, was very sweet and understanding. She helped me with a cancellation when something came up. I’d mentioned it to a male front desk agent, but he said cancelling would cost extra. Like, what is that?
I stayed here recently for Superbowl and had a great experience. The rooms were super clean, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The bar area is a pleasant place to sit, have a drink and read a book.
The soundproofing is terrible, and with hardwood floors you hear whoever’s above you. The AC fan turns off, so there’s no steady background noise to cover sounds while you sleep. I asked the front desk three times to switch it to “constant fan” mode. They said they would, but never did. Not recommended.
