Our building had four rooms, and it stayed quiet during our three nights there. The resort is huge, with a spacious feel wherever we went. We also walked the paved, five-mile river loop, which was peaceful and had lovely views. It was an accommodation partner for Mount Bachelor Ski Resort, and we picked it for the breakfast package at the in-house Lodge Kitchen restaurant. That turned out to be a highlight, along with the heated indoor and outdoor pool spas and the bar serving food and drinks. Staff we met were friendly and professional, and the service was excellent. Wi-Fi was fast, reliable, and reached everywhere we needed. We drove a few minutes to the Village community for other restaurants, but Lodge Kitchen was still our favorite dining experience. Highly recommend this resort.

The trails, hot tubs, pools, and postcard scenery make this feel like a whole sanctuary. We came while the snow was melting and got some great skiing at nearby slopes. I can only imagine the summer golf and how the place turns into a snowy wonderland in winter. Every season seems to have its own appeal. It may be harder to find a lounge chair at peak times, but that's a small thing in a place this beautiful. The approach is lovely, with roundabouts, a little waterfall, manicured homes, green golf courses, Mount Bachelor in the background, and deer, elk, and geese among the pines under a huge blue sky. Our accommodation sat on the front lawn, with vaulted ceilings, nice bathroom tile, a bed that felt like a cloud, and a deck with gorgeous views. It all felt wonderfully luxurious. Five glittering stars. Sunriver Resort delivers plenty of magic, so book it, darlings! 🌟

We got fantastic help from the staff. On our second day I came down with a fever, probably from Mount Bachelor ski resort, and the front desk brought an over-the-counter pain reliever within three minutes when I called around 10 p.m. The waiters at Kitchen Lodge, including Myline, were wonderful, and the dishes were impeccable with lots of variety. We played pickleball at the indoor center on the first night and met some great staff there too. A luxury resort with great amenities and service. I'd definitely return.

Seeing a huge herd of elk lying behind the main Lodge the next morning was a real treat. The night before, we took the free shuttle to the Village for dinner and drinks, then texted for a ride back a couple of hours later. We even had the hot tub to ourselves for 45 minutes in the snow. We stayed in The Lodge Village King Suite. It was gorgeous, spacious, and had everything we needed. Downstairs were the kitchen, dining table, couch, big screen, fireplace, and deck. The loft had a King bed, another big screen, and a nice bathroom. Such a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

We enjoyed bubbly in the sunshine on the back patio in February, with gorgeous views. The spa was delightful too, even though it had been moved temporarily. On our first night we needed help with the TV streaming and gas fireplace. The young man who came went above and beyond, and even brought back chocolate after I jokingly asked for some. A wonderful experience.
