Most of the rooms look out over the pool, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Even the locals at other places were comfortably friendly. The breakfast had a great range of options. Our vacation was so perfect that, after about eight years of dating, I proposed to my partner. It's a great spot for seeing the Duluth area while enjoying Superior's grand hospitality.

The pool and hot tub were amazing, and it was handy having a washer and dryer guests could use. Christina at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. She remembered our names each time we came in and shared useful information about upcoming local events, which made our stay top tier. The Best Western was perfectly placed for visiting Duluth, with all the places we went just 5-10 minutes away. We'll definitely stay again if we visit.

Breakfast was good, and I appreciated being able to get coffee and such around the clock. The room had holes in the walls and was next to two staff rooms, where a loud vibrating noise kept waking us multiple times during the night. The hotel itself isn't in the best shape. It was an alright stay, but nothing to write home about.

Christine made me feel good about choosing this hotel when I called to confirm my late arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean. The included breakfast was wonderful, with a great hostess working as the 'breakfast lady.' The pool looked lovely, but we were busy eating meals out other than breakfast each day, so never got the chance to swim.

The staff were nice, but there were a few issues in the room. The toilet kept running because it leaked internally, and a draft came through the poorly insulated wall. The fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed. There was also a little mold on the tub surround and someone's hair still stuck to it.
