Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Superior

I booked a last minute, nonrefundable rate at half the usual price and arrived around 9:30-10 pm. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and quiet, with a pool and fitness center, and felt busy but not too busy. They gave me a two queen room that was much bigger than I needed as a solo guest. I was allowed a late checkout and to use the pool after its 10 pm closing and after checkout. Wi-Fi was fast, and coffee and hot chocolate were free. Some hot breakfast items were gone when I came down at 8 am, and the taxi was expensive. Definitely recommend it. Whether it's $58 or $120, this 3 star hotel has it all.

For graduation weekend, this was a clean, spacious room and a quiet stay, even though the hotel was booked full. There are plenty of bars, food, and a Kwik Trip within walking distance. Breakfast had good hot options. I didn't try the pool, though it looked nice. The restaurant was closed Sunday night, otherwise we would have gone.

The room temperature was easy to adjust with the wall thermostat, which was a welcome change after other hotels where the wall controls don't seem to do anything and the units aren't controllable or don't work. The staff at Cobblestone in Superior, WI were super nice and helpful. The place looked clean and new, the pool was clean and my daughter really enjoyed it. We didn't try the restaurant, but it smelled delicious. We have family nearby, so we'll definitely come back!

You can bring your dog, which was the only nice thing about this place. The room wasn't stocked properly: there was no hand gel in the shower, no small bar of soap at the sink, and not enough toilet paper. Breakfast was horrible. The woman working there was unwelcoming and kept saying, “I'm quitting my job!” after we told her she'd closed breakfast 15 minutes early. Reception had told us she was working on bringing more food out, so the whole breakfast experience was awful.
