The room was basic but comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The staff member on duty that night was personable and efficient. It’s easy to see from I-5 and close by. The garish 1970s color scheme wasn’t for me, and the wood floors didn’t do much to block sound.

I booked in the middle of the night when every other hotel was full, and the service was decent. The bed had been cleaned well. There were marks on the shower wall that looked like hair but weren’t, and the heat lamp was broken.

The shower was filthy, and the drawers had stains and yellow marks. I found blood on the bed when we arrived, along with hair and other stains. Bernice was the housekeeper for our room, and I left a nice note on the card they provided. As someone who used to be a housekeeper, I can’t imagine leaving a room in this condition. It was absolutely disgusting, and they need new housekeepers.

I’d already paid for the room when I arrived with my fiancé, who showed Dawn his ID. She still said we couldn’t stay because I’d recently lost mine and only had a photo of it. I wasn’t trying to buy alcohol, and I had nowhere else to go. A scannable photo ID should be accepted. I’d shown one before and had never run into this problem. She was rude and arrogant.
