Hansen Guest Ranch

Breakfast with family at the campground ended up being one of the highlights of our trip: fresh sausage, eggs, potatoes, delicious banana bread, good coffee, and even better company. Nancy kept in touch by text, and we felt looked after without being intruded on. Before that, we spent the day riding our ATV through the mountains. The yurt drew us in right away, and the photos online didn't do it justice. Booking was easy, with several lodging options. Nancy rode up on her bike to greet us, showed us to the yurt after they'd cooled it down for us, gave us a quick tour, and let us settle in. It was cozy and peaceful, with a full kitchen, bathroom, bed, pull-out couch, heaters, fan, and a big deck with breathtaking views. The decor was lovely, and I fell for the quilt and duvet cover. I'm sure they were handmade. The property has lots of room to gather, a climbing wall, and a fire pit for s'mores. It would be great for a reunion or wedding. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to get married there, that's how much I loved the place. Nancy and her husband were wonderful hosts. If you're visiting and want a local-feeling stay in Swan Valley, I'd highly recommend Hansen Guest Ranch. I'll be back, and it's at the top of my list for getaways and recommendations.

The hosts were the sweetest and really wanted to make our stay perfect. Since it’s a small property and there weren’t many other guests around, the service felt very personal. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there last summer. We loved the beautiful scenery, our cute, cozy room in the really cool old barn house, the pickleball, the little walking trail, and the delicious home-cooked breakfast. 10/10, we'd recommend it, and I'll stay again!

The grandkids and their parents had a great time with the outdoor games, including two pickleball courts, horseshoes, cornhole, and a fire pit, as well as the climbing wall and all the surrounding natural beauty. The location is beautiful, and the outdoor kitchen worked fine for making lunch and dinner. We took our extended family to Swan Valley for a vacation, and day trips to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole were great.

The breakfast was amazing, and the owners were extremely friendly. We also enjoyed the dogs, the chatty caretakers, and the peaceful setting across several acres. Our room was a cool space in a converted barn. Other guests had rooms there too, but we were the only ones staying that weekend. There were lots of handy extras we could use, including the barn's shared areas, a grilling patio stocked with tools and some condiments, a fire pit, and several seating spots. We played board games and cornhole, but skipped the pickleball courts because we were tired from hiking in Grand Teton. We loved our multi-night stay at Hansen Ranch.
