The staff were friendly, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast was okay, though it could use better choices. Free valet was good, but on a couple of occasions they left our car door unlocked. My sunglasses were either left behind or stolen from the car. The hot tub was nice, but the jets need servicing. Without working jets, the water just lurches around and splashes your face instead of giving a proper jetted experience. I mentioned it to the staff, but it didn't seem like a priority, and it looked like the problem had been there for a while.

The breakfast buffet was superb, with lots of choices, although it was more or less the same each day. The staff were mostly great. They sometimes seemed overworked, but that's common around Miami. You could tell they earned their money and did their jobs. Most were bilingual, many Hispanic or American, as Bad Bunny truthfully renamed them. They felt useful, were grateful and service-oriented, and did work many of us so-called “Americans” wouldn't do for that wage. The suite had a washer and dryer and a comfortable sofa in the living room-kitchen-laundry-office area. The location was good and close to where I needed to go. My view was warehouses and some residential buildings, which was just what was around. The pool looked nice in pictures, but I didn't make time to visit it. The kitchens in the rooms looked modern, though they were a bit dated, but functional. Some maintenance was needed: the A/C made quite a lot of noise for hours after being switched on, like it was drowning in its own water, and the place could use attention to dents, paint scratches, and caulking. When I arrived, the floor was extremely dusty. I bought one of those Sweepers and cleaned it all over before my wife arrived two days later. The cleaning made me sleepy. Would I stay again? Probably yes.

Though we were there only briefly, our stay at Nuvo was comfortable and pleasant. It has a contemporary feel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was neat and clean, with a comfortable little sitting area outside the bedroom. Two malls are conveniently close, with places to eat, shop, or catch a movie. I'd recommend Nuvo. Just note there isn't an airport shuttle. Uber was very reasonable.

Luz and Jan were so kind and helpful, and made everything smooth and convenient for us. The room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. We had a great experience and will be back. Thanks 😊
