My room was fantastic, clean, cozy, and comfortable, and I felt at home during the two weeks I stayed. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Try the M room on the second floor, with afternoon snacks and small bites, plus coffee, soda, and water available all day and night. It’s an easy walk to a coffee shop and restaurants. Parking costs extra, which is a downside. I understand the business needs to make money, but I’d love to see free parking or a lower rate. Reviews are mixed, and I think the room you choose affects your experience. I’d recommend the place and stay here again if I travel to Tacoma.

Our room was a good size, and staff were friendly. The restaurant downstairs stayed open late enough for us to eat after the conference. The lot filled quickly, but the garage staff were all helpful and friendly. When the conference sessions changed over, the elevators filled up and were hard to catch going either up or down. If you’re at an event there, leave extra time to get around.

The staff made the stay memorable, especially Ivania, the manager. She was always welcoming and helpful, and every time I saw her she had a genuine smile. She made me feel like a resident, not just a guest. Room service was quick and delicious, the bar drinks were well made, and the restaurant food was consistently great. Housekeeping were friendly, and the rooms were spotless and well maintained. I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Tacoma Downtown and look forward to coming back.

The rooms are nicely updated and close to the Dome and other attractions. The fitness room is top notch, with lots of equipment. The pool and hot tub are outside; the pool was WAY too cold, but my daughter enjoyed the hot tub.

This is probably my favorite hotel in downtown Tacoma. It’s connected to the convention center, and the rooms are good to great quality. There’s plenty of room around the bar and restaurant to host a large company conference. It’s also near tourist spots like the auto museum, if you have time to get away. I’d highly recommend this Marriott if you need to stay in Tacoma.
