Best Western Plus Taft Inn

The front desk staff were welcoming, and the room was spacious and very clean. The bed was too hard, though, and we could hear people in neighboring rooms through the thin walls. Breakfast was passable: packaged pastries, eggs and sausage that were somewhat warm, pancakes that weren't warm enough for me, cereal, and juice. Given the other options in town, it's not a bad place to stay.

The staff were kind and helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nicely renovated the place was. Noise was the tough part for me. You can hear everything, and some guests were inconsiderately loud, though they usually quieted down later at night. I'd stay again.

We did nothing wrong, but they made us leave. The workers were rude and didn't address the people smoking meth in their rooms. They also didn't understand anything we said and aren't bilingual. For better sleep and service, go to the Holland Inn in taft. They know English!

We travel a lot, and this hotel keeps exceeding our expectations. Everything is outstanding, and I can't find anything bad to say about it. I almost wanted to give the breakfast a nine, but I also wanted to ask for more tea varieties, so I dropped the rating by one just to leave that comment. Please keep it up, everything is top-notch!
