Holiday Inn Express Tahlequah

The room was very clean, breakfast was good, and the coffee especially hit the spot. We had a great experience and will stay again when we come back. The clerks were kind and helpful throughout. Our plans changed, and the clerk had no problem refunding the second night. Since we checked in late, the night clerk first said there were no baby beds available. My daughter was going to make a warm pallet, but the clerk found a baby crib and brought it to us. The next day, after knee surgery, I had trouble getting into the tub. The clerk on duty got me a handicap room next door with a walk-in shower, and I was grateful for her kindness.

The front desk staff were perfectly polite. This was the best Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever seen. There was a huge line at the coffee place down the street, so I came back here instead. The lobby machines grind beans and make fresh coffee 24/7.

I came to Tahlequah for medical treatment, and this was my first stay here. The first room had an unplugged fridge, a problem since my daughter and I had brought frozen food and planned to stay in for the night. They moved us, but the next room was still dirty, with towels and things everywhere. After a lot of back and forth, I got a little annoyed, but they apologized, moved us a third time, and the supervisor came to speak with us. Everyone was really nice and acted quickly. Despite the minor inconveniences, I have nothing negative to say about the hotel.

The other workers and the rest of my experience have been outstanding. It took about five minutes for a host to show up and check me in, and he wasn’t very talkative, but there were basketball teams staying there that he was probably looking after.
