evo Hotel Tahoe City

The lake is right across the street, and Sylva is only a couple doors down, so the location is super convenient. Sierra Surf Club has a great vibe, with excellent cocktails and good food. Everyone we dealt with, from hotel check-in to the rentals shop, bar, and restaurant, was awesome. It was handy to rent or buy ski and snowboard gear on site, and pick up any last-minute accessories or clothes. We especially loved the balcony room and how pet-friendly the place is. They even gave our dog a really cute welcome pack. I just wish the rooms had a Bluetooth speaker or some way to play music.

We had a great one-night visit to Evo Hotel. It was clean and well cared for, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful, making everything easy. The fire pits gave us a relaxing place to wind down after dinner. The lake is right across the way, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. We took a short hike up to a nearby peak, and the views were worth it, then had a great dinner close by. We’d come back for a longer stay.

I felt safe here and was very satisfied with my stay. The room was modern and spacious, and there’s a large parking lot for guests only. The hotel is across the street from the lake, and the staff were polite and friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

The one downside was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear the neighbors’ baby as if he were in our room. Otherwise, the room was fresh, clean, and modern, and the common areas were beautiful. The staff were very welcoming. Commons Beach is across the road, with Safeway and restaurants nearby. There’s a big parking area out front, and hotel guests can get free drip coffee at a nearby surf cafe.
