We had a great view and even got to see Denali mountain during our stay. Talkeetna is just a short drive away, or you can walk. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. The cabins were immaculate and well maintained, with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable.

We absolutely recommend Talkeetna Susitna River Lodge. It's very nice and clean, with a great location near good restaurants, and made a perfect start to our Alaska trip. There was a small mix-up over our room category on the first night, but the staff sorted it out flexibly and professionally, which we really appreciated.

I stayed just one night, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. The smooth self-check-in and the great selection of coffee were a plus. My room had a fully working kitchen, and the lodge was warm, cozy, exceptionally clean, and well stocked. A fantastic stay from beginning to end!

It's -3 degrees outside, but inside you wouldn't know it. The lodge is warm, cozy, clean, and well stocked, and the honor system for snacks and drinks is a lovely touch. There's a great coffee selection, and the large family room made it easy for our group of eight to enjoy ourselves. I can only imagine how beautiful the views are in fall. We felt welcome right away. A friend mentioned casually that we were taking the train to Talkeetna, and a lodge employee came to pick us up at the station. Who does that? That sealed the deal for me.

The area and our room were beautiful, and it was such a peaceful place to enjoy Alaska's nature. My brother and I felt well looked after too, everyone was kind and helpful. I'd recommend staying here.
