Breakfast was decent the first morning, though not very good the second, and we also had a few elevator problems. The staff were friendly, but housekeeping knocked at 9 a.m. even though checkout was at 11. I told her we were still in the room. About an hour later, another housekeeper simply walked in without knocking or announcing herself. That's completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed through training. My family could have been changing. I raised my concerns with the front desk. The bathroom floor was sticky enough that our socks and feet stuck to it, so there are cleaning issues to resolve.

The location is handy for shops, restaurants, and FSU, and the staff were friendly. But the room was dirty, and for $260 a night I expected it to be clean and the heat to work. There was hair on the sheets, plus dirt or food and a dead bug on the kitchenette floor. The heater smelled awful and set off the fire alarm when switched on. Staff said that was normal because it hadn't been started this year, and sprayed scented spray into it. It still stank, and I was afraid to turn it on again because of the air quality if that much dust was burning and filling the whole fourth floor. I'm glad this is only a one-night stay. I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still, the slow shower flow and the need for some updating made it clear the hotel needs attention.

This sets a new standard for me. The staff, room, food, and parking were all great. After more than 70 stays, this was one of my best, and it's the standard I'll use from now on.
