Hilton Garden Inn Tallahassee Central

I was able to choose my room, and I was very happy with the one I got. It was quite spacious. Lauren at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is nice enough, not fabulous, but perfectly fine for most needs. The odd part was getting no housekeeping at all during my two-night stay. It wasn't a major problem for me, and I'm sure Lauren would have brought extra towels or whatever I needed. Still, guests who expect daily bed-making and fresh towels could find that an issue.

Update, Nov. 2025: another great stay, and once again the people made the difference. Mr. Tommy was so kind and helpful, and Susan, Amber, Clark, Steven, and Lauren were all wonderful too. Great customer service is what makes this hotel what it is. On an earlier visit, Austin and the other front desk staff were kind and professional. Stephen from food and beverage was also awesome and helpful. The hotel was clean and decorated for that weekend's big FSU/Alabama game, which made it feel cheerful and inviting. My family and I always stay here. It's our home away from home. Thanks, well done, and another great stay with a wonderful staff.

The toilet in my room ran all night. I reported it to the front desk soon after checking in, and they said someone would come fix it. Nobody ever came. I feel bad for whoever gets that room next.

At midnight, there were no other rooms, so I had to go out looking for somewhere clean. The room smelled of cigarettes, and when I told the front desk, he handed me cleaning supplies to deal with it myself. The toilet was dirty and overflowed when I flushed. This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm getting a refund now. Don't waste your time.
