We won’t stay here again. We booked one night with kids, and the website still listed a pool that had been removed. The lobby was dirty, and check-in took 15 minutes with no explanation about the ice machine or anything else. Our room was clean and laid out well, but the updates didn’t seem well done. We could manage with the towels provided, though there weren’t enough. Breakfast was all prepackaged and not very good, the fruit was old, and we had to ask for more milk or juice.

As a loyal Marriott customer, this was the worst stay I’ve had. Construction was underway in both rooms I booked, but it wasn’t disclosed when I made the reservation or on the website. It was disruptive, and I had to move construction materials myself to make the area safe for my children. I chose the hotel for the extra space and beds shown in the listing, but the rooms didn’t match it. The sofa bed in the kids’ room was unusable, just a hard surface with a metal beam through the middle. There was no bedding for it either, and I had to ask for some. When I requested a nightly credit, the assistant manager directed me to Marriott. Marriott then said the issue had to be resolved on site. The staff showed no urgency or concern and just sent me back and forth. The lack of transparency, poor room conditions, and dismissive service were unacceptable. I expected much better from Marriott and hope they improve their communication and customer service.

I stayed here from January 1, 2025 to February 9, 2025 while preparing to move to another state for my next career. The process was taking a while. I’d give the hotel four and a half out of five stars. It was comfortable and quiet, though sometimes I could hear other guests in their rooms. I liked having a kitchen and dishes, and the Wi-Fi was good. Customer service and the hotel cleaners were friendly and did good work. Hotel Manager Kervin was helpful and concise, as were the other desk clerks and breakfast servers. I used the tiny gym a few times, but would have gone more if it had room for the cardio workouts where I need to move around. The heater didn’t work, but I had my own heated blanket. There was no bathroom vent, so I opened the window. There was renovation work on the kitchen cabinets and outside my window. I hardly saw construction while going to or coming back from work on weekdays, so I think it happened during the day while I was away. I barely noticed it on weekends while relaxing, too. The hotel would provide a paper notice when indoor renovation was happening.

It’s a decent hotel in a convenient spot near plenty of places to eat and other things. The main downside is being across from a hospital, so you hear everything. The gym is small but has enough for a workout, and there are Planet Fitness locations nearby as well as walking trails.
