Amise on the overnight Front Desk shift really went out of her way to help me. The website kept glitching and restarting when I tried to book a King Suite with a connecting room, so I called to explain what was going wrong. She took care of the whole reservation for me. It took 33 minutes, and I know that was a lot of time, but I’m very grateful. It can be hard these days to reach someone at the property for reservation help. The off-site corporate reservation line is often what you get, and they may not know the property's room details or the needs of repeat guests. Amise knew the rooms and property well, and she was kind and polite throughout. She exceeded my expectations and added that “The Hyatt Touch.” Hyatt is lucky to have her.

The ride was smooth, safe, and stress-free, and John Reyes was friendly and welcoming the whole way. He was professional and on time, and you could tell he genuinely cared about the people he was driving. If John is your shuttle bus driver, you’re in good hands. Highly recommend!

The room worked very well for our three-night stay before Christmas. It was spacious and clean, with everything we needed, and our seventh-floor bay view also included the pool. We arrived early and, since we were tired from traveling, paid the extra $30 per night for early check-in in a bay-view room. The front desk employee was accommodating. There’s a restaurant and a store on the first floor. We passed by the pool but it was too chilly to get in, and the casitas at the far end of the hotel looked like an interesting area to visit another time. We booked through Hotels.com, where the total was about $650. At checkout it was nearly $1,000. I expected the bay-view upgrade charge, but there were other fees that hadn’t been disclosed. Someone had also charged a breakfast buffet to our room. I complained and got a refund, but they should rethink how restaurant charges are handled. The stay itself was good, though they need to be clearer about fees and restaurant procedures.

Both breakfasts were delicious and generously portioned. I ordered a la carte, though there’s a buffet too. I also really liked the bayside pool, about a five-minute walk from the main building, with a golf cart ride available. It was quiet and clean, there were plenty of towels, and a restaurant next door for food or drinks. I wanted a peaceful weekend in the sun and that’s what I got. I stayed two nights, used both pools and the sauna, and found the hotel extremely clean. The staff were fantastic, from the front desk and bell staff to the valet, servers, and bartenders. When I couldn’t get Chromecast working, someone came up right away to fix it. Service was five-star from check-in through checkout. I’m a loyal Hyatt member, and since they keep changing hotel categories, my old favorite category 4 isn’t available for my free night awards anymore. This was a great substitute. Highly recommend if you want pretty views, a relaxing stay, and good staff and amenities.
